This hotel is right across from SUNY Albany's menacing campus. It is budget-friendly, our room was nice. There's a pool and a fitness room which is great. The temperature in the room was excellent and we were able to control it well …

Quick visit to U at Albany, this Courtyard was one of the hotels closest to site. Personnel was curteous and professional, hotel was clean with signs of wear - Marriott website says recently updated but that was probably a long while ago …

First room had a weird beeping coming from the vents so we had him switch rooms, very helpful at the front desk. They do not have a hot tub though as pictures would show, just the pool and it didn't look too clean so we never used it. Rooms were clean, not too far from town.

Arrived last minute due to a disastrous booking at another hotel. Was. Greeted by Chris and Junior. Two young men with wonderful customer service. Made checking in smooth. Were able to recommend places to go eat. The hotel was clean..quiet..comfortable. I highly recommend!

This ia a revision of my yesterdays commentary. The room hasn’t been cleaned properly. Found tablets (medication) on the floor at the bed as well as crumbs. Had problems with the TV remote control. Couldn't switch away from the Marriott Bonvoy channel at all. Even turning off the TV took 10 minutes. The receptionist couldn't help since he was alone and there were no remotes for exchange/ testing availlable. Very frustrating. Tried it again in the morning. It worked. Don't know why. Didn't do anything different than the evening before.

Smoke detector flashes a bright green every couple of minutes (sometimes they won't flash for 5 minutes or so and sometimes they will flash several times a few seconds apart). I looked it up and it seems to be an indication of ac power disconnected or a low or no battery. I can't sleep because of it. Also, contrary to the hotel description, there is no breakfast included. I have stayed at 4 other hotels in this area in the past, and they all included a breakfast buffet with free coffee in the lobby all day, this one advertised breakfast and does not include any breakfast, and they only have overpriced Starbucks coffee available for purchase. I spend over 2 months per year living in hotels for the past 6 years, and this is the first time I have ever been motivated to give one a negative review. FIX YOUR SMOKE DETECTORS!

Hotel is good- clean, by the highway, by a gas station, 9min from downtown. BUT they do not offer continental breakfast included as advertised. It's basically a Starbucks that you order food from and pay.

We paid for a room with two queen beds for 3 guests. We we arrived late in the evening after a long day of driving. Our room only had two towels for 3 guests. We called the front desk and was told that we had to wait 30 minutes for another towel. On top of this, we were told we had to go to the front desk for it. This was unacceptable since it was after 8pm. The staff should have brought this to the room since we weren't asking for anything extra.
